MytyYorkie:
I have been quite long enough. The very people that are telling you what an awful thing you have let happen claim they do not & would not breed small Yorkies. Well if they do not then they do not have any experience breeding small Yorkies. I have bred small Yorkies for 20 years. I have never lost a mama, not even come close. I have never had one in trouble other than having to have a c-section. The small ones carry just as easy as a larger one, & yes I have bred larger Yorkies also so I have expertise in larger ones also. I have never had a Yorkie less than 4 lbs have 5 pups so I cannot give advice there. I would not consider letting her have them naturally. A c-section is not that hard on the female, a difficult birth is & also is dangerous. If you will just watch her closely & schedule a c-section I think she will be fine. You do need a backup vet. I also have never had any of the monstrous expenses I have read about. There are a lot of people on this board that breed small Yorkies, they just don't post b/c they don't want to be bad mouthed. I have my hard hat on so I am ready for you girls.
