Almost 2 yrs ago next month, I went into the hospital for about a week with a severe asthma attack. A week after I got out I had a follow up with my primary care Dr. The first thing he ask me was, "would you like to live to watch your children grow up?" "If you do, you need to quit NOW!" I totally lost it. I have not had one since, and thank God no cravings for one either! Next month I will be 2 yrs smoke free!! They started me on the patch while I was in the hospital and that's all I need to quit.
