I found the comment rude also. I have 2 long hair chihuahuas that I absolutely adore. I know she was upset though so i kinda thought, not nice but ok just ignore it.
The pic of the yorkie is cute, infact it is usually the way we have Gypsy cut on purpose. I can not afford a lot of grooming and just can not stand to do it myself though we do occasiionally give them a bath. When her eyes start being invisable, to the groomer's she goes. The only time we had trouble we had was when we took Puff, one of our lh chis. We told them NOT to cut her tail. It looks like a flag and we love the look of it. When we picked her up, the hair was cut. We were told there must have been mats in it (wasn't we are sure) and that the manager herself did it, but conveniently she was gone for the day when we picked up Puff. They even saw where it was written on the sheet. We went back next time and have had no problem again.
