My vet always says: "First Do No Harm To The Animal" and many decisions were made based on this. When you are involved with rescue many animals came in with many different problems and we always had to look at the pro's and con's of what was going on with each animal BUT we always made the decision to take care of the little dog we were holding and not the future dogs she could or did have.
