This is true....however, she could've easily just told me so, instead of dealing with me the whole way through and then suddenly flip the switch like that. At no point whatsoever, did she mention anything about finding a better placement for the puppy. She went straight from waiting for me to reply with an answer about border/passport rules, to suddenly informing me that the puppy was already sold.
It's good that you were trying to see this from the breeder's perspective, but I think you should also consider the buyer's perspective as well. How would you feel if this same thing had happened to you? You have your heart set on a puppy that you're planning to get (and just need to find out some important information to seal the deal), and then you're completely blindsided to hear that it's been given to someone else. It seems like some people may be biased (which I expected), since Breny
is a respected breeder/member on here. I really believe that if this situation occurred with a breeder outside of the forum (who people weren't familiar with), then they might consider both sides of the coin here.
