Post Breeding

I spent years researching the yorkie breed and I will NEVER know it all! But anyone that would even think about breeding a tiny fragile female does NOT need a yorkie on full registration.. JMO.. I wish I could explain to you how scared I am everytime one of my females whelps, rather she is 5 lbs or 7 lbs.. Even though I try to do everything right by my yorkies, I have to realize everytime I breed one I am risking their life! I worked as a vet tech for years and I have brought that knowledge into my program.. I also have a wonderful trusting loving Vet, but things still can and do go wrong.. When I have a female due to whelp I NEVER leave my home.. My husband and I take turning sleeping through the night from day 55 to the time she whelps..

I wish you luck! Just make sure if you breed to purchase a large female and not a so-called teacup, tiny or mini..
