Playpen for Den Hello fellow Yorkie lovers. I shall be able to bring my new baby Yorkie home in a 3-4 weeks or so. I am thinking I'd like to have a playpen right in the middle of my den so that I can keep an eye on him at all times. I want to be able to fit his crate inside of it (maybe), and definately have a "designated potty area" until his control over functions matures a bit and then we can graduate to another potty area. Ideally, it should also have enough room for him to be able to jump around a bit. I don't mind that it will take up all the center space in my room. I am thinking that hard plastic would be easiest to clean (not porous). I can't find anything close to this on the net. I noticed some playpens have tops on them, is this necessary to keep them from climbing/jumping out? How high should it be for a puppy who will mature to about 4.5 lbs? The plain wire ones look difficult to clean (inside a house) and just aren't cute. Any suggestions? I figure that members of YorkieTalk would be the best experts for this question.
