I want to find an adult or puppy female b/c I've had males dogs growing up. I am willing to pay up to 800. and travel to get her. I am willing to do whatever it takes to give her the best life possible and if that means not breeding then so be it. Thank you so much for the very informative info and that's what I really need to help me see what is best. The other stuff can stay in your closed mind where it belongs. Faith

I understand your frustration with all the post, however you have to understand that a Yorkie bitch for breeding, that comes from a healthy line, and is within breed standard...Is going to weigh more than 5lbs, and it will also cost you a pretty penny to purchase one.. Plus, most breeders want you to know more about the breed, references from you, they also need to know to you have a mentor, what research you have done, and last but not least, are you breeding to improve the breed, or are you breeding just to make some quick cash. Any reputable breeder, won't sell a bitch to you with full right's if they don't feel you are capable, and competent. Breeding yorkies take a lot of education, time care, and concern, it isn't something you go into all willy nilly, there are some people breeders won't even sell their dogs to as pets, so you can just imagine how they feel about people wanting to breed their babies with no background or education in breeding...Especially a Small breed dog!JMHO
