Dog/vacation I feel for you and your little dog. I never could leave my previous Yorkie as he got sick and pined if we left him, and so he went everywhere with us.
I would get a Snoozer booster seat - they love it!!! A Sherpa carrier is also good to have
I am slowly training my new adopted Yorkie to travel in his car seat by taking longer journeys each time and he is getting used to it now. Also getting him well house trained and being alone -mainly in his soft crate that he loves. Soon we hope he will be a happy traveler with us as our last beloved dog was. We are taking it slow as one bad experience could blow the whole plan. LOL.
AAA has a book that names dog friendly hotels and places, and 'Pets on the Go' also had a travel guide for dogs. We were restricted somewhat by sticking to pet- friendly hotels, but discovered some very nice new places to stay and go.
Good Luck and happy motoring! |
