Last time my husband and I went on vacation, our Yorkie (Jam) got so upset and very sick (throwing up and diarrhea). We left him with my husbands parents who love him and give him tons of attention. Jam knows them pretty well too. After we left, he layed by the door for 2 days. I felt so bad and was crying the whole night before we left (not that best way to start a vacation).

Does anyone give their Yorkie any medication to calm them down? I've heard that it's safe and if it makes sure that he doesn't get sick again, I'll try it next time we have to go away.

Also, does anyone have any good vacation spots where they've taken their Yorkie with them?
