I have 36 yrs of breeding under my belt..puppies in the 8 week age range should be fed high quality dog food 3 times per day, plus training treats...and they should not be limited in amounts at meal time...no puppy eats unless it is hungry. Dogs are not like us humans, eating out of boredom, depression, emotional eating etc..they eat because they are HUNGRY!

Face it..you are going to have a 12 to 14 pound Yorkie...you may starve it to 10, but it is still going to have a 12 to 14 frame...breeder lied because they know few people want a large Yorkie when paying for a small one.
