I just think you were lied to from the beginning. It's highly unlikely that a pup grew that much in a matter of a few days. That would be doubling his weight in a week right? This breeder just wanted your money and probably would have given you the moon too.

Unfortunately, you have some minor fault as well. If you would have researched the breed, you would have found that no honest breeder sells before a puppy is 12 weeks of age, does not make promises about weight (the best the can do is guess, but not guarantee), and that in the event the new puppy owner is not happy, hey are here to take their dog back, no questions asked. It is the breeder's responsibility to care where the pup goes.

I feel for you. The breeder should have never left you high and dry like that. I wish you luck on finding the pup a wonderful forever home.
