We have 4. We have 2 mini schnauzers, 2 yorkies. I have always introduced a new puppy very slowly. Never leaving them alone with the new dog or dogs. I spent weeks, taking Dudley to another part of the house and taking one dog at a time to play with him and get use to him. The only problem I could forsee would be to always give the dog that has been there longer first in everything. Back when we just had schnauzers we had one male (Max) 2 females, Mandy and Tina being the new kid on the block. Tina is little and fiesty and she decided she was going to rule. Max put her in her place real fast. Took some stitches over the eye and on top of the head but she submited to his place in authority and never had another problem. Even with snacks, the one being there the longest gets first is the way we have always done it. Good luck with your new baby. There is probably going to be some jealousy. Now, Dudley being 4lbs. and looks like alittle rat next to the schnauzers thinks he is going to rule. lol!!!! He will learn. You will enjoy having a male and female. They all are so different in their personalites and everything. They are so fun.
