She had two pups but sadly only one survived. It just so turned out it is a female! She is AKC registered and I made a trip to take a look at the baby, and I got to see the parents. The mother is a beautiful rare reddish, and the father is just silver and so handsome! I can really tell this woman truly loves her Yorkies and they apart of her family. Well, we put a deposit on the little pup and I'll have her in 6 weeks!!! |
I'm so glad you are happy with the lady you found. Does she offer a health guarantee? I'm sure you will be very happy with your new baby but you really don't want to bring your new puppy home at only 7-8 weeks old. Maybe this woman doesn't know any better but if you will research it you will find that most good Yorkie breeders don't let their puppies go to their new homes until around 12 weeks old, they just are not ready at that young of an age. Do a search here on YT and find the threads speaking about puppies who don't have any bite inhibition, don't know how to play with other dogs, get hypoglycemic and other problems. These puppies usually are let go too young and not kept with momma until 12 weeks old. Good luck with your new family member.
