I know how you feel to receive the diagnosis of LP. I know my heart sank when the vet told me my pup had it in both knees. Calleigh had a grade III in her left leg. She didn't have any symptoms either. I took her to an Orthopedic Specialist. He recommend that she have the surgery, which she did. She made out just fine. She also has a grade 2 in her right leg. I'm not doing anything at this time. She seems to be just fine. I'm not worried about it. If she has pain or starts limping I most likely will have to do something at that point. For now, she's jumping, running and nothing is slowing her down. The diagnosis isn't as bad as it sounds. I never let Calleigh jump down from furniture. Once in a great while, she will jump off the bottom step. No sense in asking for trouble.
