I had a feeling they would keep her for a procedure, and I really don't think your update was horrific. I think it's good that they are going to take care of things right away. Poor Basil needs some relief. However, I know nothing about this kind of technique and procedure. Did the vet say if this is common or that he foresees any issues? What is the likelihood for full recovery?
