Fingers are crossed!

They are sneaky, aren't they??!! lol Ours sleep in crates at night, love their "beds" and by 8:30 at night they go to their respective crates and want in!
We had set up an x-pen for the pups with a pup tent in it (so they had a little "house" and "yard" - but contained.
When you have to be gone: Why not get an x-pen - put in a crate with the door blocked open/removed so she can go in and out when she wants to sleep and feel cozy, yet have a potty pad covered "yard" outside the crate, yet still within in pen? Also by going on the pads every time she's in there she might make the connection. I know our pups were actually better about using the pads than the adults...which I "kinda" attribute to use of the x-pen/potty pads in it for the pups.

Look at others' posts - maybe in the picture forum -- some people have got those really cute x-pens, decorated them, placed a potty pad in one corner of it...More I think about that I'm going to do that with ours.

I do know once spring hits (we got 10" of snow last night...so I'm thinking it'll be awhile yet) we're going to really do some spring cleaning - get the professional carpet cleaners in here and try being more strict with the pads and doggie door.

For what's it's worth - we feed Royal Canin and their "poops" are always very firm and small - hardly a big deal to take from the potty pad to the toilet.
