If I have to start my car and then get out to scrape/brush snow off my windows, I get out of my car, check and pull on the manual lock to make sure it's unlocked for sure before I shut my door. I have this weird feeling that I'm gonig to lock my keys in my car! I have never ever locked my keys in my car, so I don't know why I have such a fear of it!

I also check locks on the house bcause I always second guess myself. When I'm home by myself, I deadbolt the door as soon as I walk in, but I still go back to check it to make sure it's really deadbolted. I live in a small town where nothing is ever stolen (neighbor's kids leave stuff all over their lawn year round!) plus we have an alarm system, PLUS they'd need to break in the garage first before getting to the house... yet I still feel if something were to happen, it would happen when I'm home alone, and so I continue to check on everything!
