9:00 am this morning my 10 week old yorkie was on my bed playing with my husband and when I turned my back for a sec. My yorkie jumped off the bed and when he landed he let out a LOUD YELP and when he got up he wouldn't put any weight on his front right leg. My husband took him to Pet smart Vet 9:15 am and they had to do X-rays ($200
) on him. The Doc said that he had a fractured leg, and they gave him a shot of pain meds. around 9:30am-9:45am.
It is now 9:10pm and he has not ate or drank anything. I have tried feeding him and giving him water but he doesn't want anything. He licked water off my finger but that is about it! Im not sure how to react towards this. This is my 1st Yorkie and he is my little baby!!! Please HELP!!! Is this normal for him not to eat or drink after getting a shot for pain?
