I'm glad he's going to be okay. It must have been very scary for you. Was it late at night when this happened? I think if the Vet and the Poision Control said he'll be ok then I'm sure he will be. For sure find out if you can feed him, which I don't see any reason why you wouldn't be able to. Then probably make some chicken and give that to him so he actually eats.
A good thing for our dogs to know is "leave it" so if you ever drop anything that he's not suppose to have, just say leave it and he won't touch it.
Good luck with your baby I'm glad he's alright.
Always remember to put poisonous things up high so he can't get to it.
