I was reading the specs on Blue Buffalo and when we went to do our Sunday Costco run, I noticed the Kirklands chicken and rice for small dogs. So I pulled up the Blue Buffalo chicken and rice for small dogs on my phone and compared ingredients. I was amazed they were pretty "dog" gone close. The first two ingredients were spot on. Then there were a couple of ingredients that exchanged places, but were still equal as far as part of the mix. Then it kept on going right on down the line.
So I took a shot at a bag and Buddy went crazy over it. I did an equal mix of his old brand that came with him from the rescue folks and the new bag. He is going to be eating the mix for a week before he switches over. I've been reading reviews on this product and as I mentioned earlier, I take things with a grain of salt. It's up to Buddy to display reasons to love it or not. So far, he's active, happy and he's going to the bathroom very healthy. We shall see! |
