I have no experience with neuter but hopefully someone else can hlep you. I was freaking out over every mark on my girls after their spay so I know how you feel.

unexperienced view, it doesn't look bad to me.
I would think bruising is normal and will vary from dog to dog just like with people. Hope you are able to find your piece of mind soon.
