Reputable breeders also breed for the off colors such as gold, blonde, chocolate and partis, and do not advertise them as rare because you can buy them anywhere.
They are considered a fault for showing purposes, but the color occurs naturally, they arwe not mixed, they are purebred and AKC registered.
