Personally, I would take my pup to the vet. Being quiet for a couple of days and shaking could indicate lots of things....better to have him checked out imo. Better safe than sorry.
I recently noticed odd behavior in one of my pups and thank goodness I followed my instincts. He was on Mometamax for an ear infection and it was causing him to lose his hearing. A side effect that, while not common, does occur. He had his ears flushed and after a couple of days was back to normal. They said it is better to catch it early or sometimes the hearing does not come back.
I would rather pay for a vet visit and have it be nothing than to wait and have it be something that gets worse.
