I use a ton of different seasonings- usually mixing up my own. I start with salt and pepper and then just add a few other spices you like. Or you can start with some of the pre-made spice mixes- they usually tell you if they are good for poultry, fish, or beef. |
I tend to cut my chicken real thin, so it cooks really quickly and evenly on the george foreman.
OH! I wanted to add something for Ann to try. My favorite salad is cactus salad! YUM YUM. I don't know how healthy it is, but it's a really refreshing salad to eat on a summer day with tostatads.
It's 5 ingredients, cactus (nopal) leaf you cut off the pointy things, chop it up and boil it with a pinch of salt, and a small slice of onion. That's set aside to cool and drain. Then you chop up tomato, onions, and cilantro. You toss it all together, and then sprinkle fresh Mexican cheese on top. Then just enjoy!
