Yes my boys also didn't need the cone. They left the stitches alone. Just get a human baby onsie and put it on him, make a little hole for the tail... hehe I just used it at night when I couldn't watch them closely. During the day I watched to make sure they didn't try to lick there. A week seems like torture for that poor baby!!
