I used to sleep on the floor next to the crate with one of my dogs - so he would not keep the family away. That was in my door mat days
I crated Remy when she was first home, now she sleeps with us. It is what I want, I love the cuddling. She will go into her crate if I need her ... like something going on in the house that I need to keep her safe from. Some owners will NEVER have a dog sleep in their bed, some would NEVER have a dog sleep in a crate... to each their own.
I agree to that youf pup is feeling your frustration. First step is too calm down, second decide what you want to do and stick with it. lol... wait till you have human kids!!!!
