Is it not possible that he wouldnt have to sleep in the crate, maybe get him one of those soft beds and lay it next to your bed so he can see you. I would think htat unless he pottys in the house or something he might be ok to just be out, that might help some. I have only made Charlie be in his crate 1 time and that was to bring him home from the breeder when I bought him. I know allot of people truely believe in them but I just think its sad to coop them up. Charlie sleeps with me and hubby and he sits by us on the couch I mean he IS family.
