A dog lover in my way of thinking is one who put the good of the dog over their emotions/feelings.
There is nothing humane about 1000's of straving, homeless dogs roaming free..what about disease, rabies, slow death from parvo...painful death from broken legs, fights, infested with fleas, ticks and worms..bitches producing litter after litter...
I will even shock you more and say I shoot an animal myself before I would allow endless suffering...things are not going to improve in these countries and they are not going to have the money to build shelters...
