Because of her age, I would also recommend having a can of goats milk (can be found in the baking aisle of Wal Mart), karo syrup and a feeding syringe handy (just in case you need to supplement). Better safe than sorry.
Pee pads- take what ever you think you are going to need and double it. Nothing worse than running out in the middle of the night.
A soft, break away collar with a bell (like the kind kittens wear). If she's out of your sight and you don't hear the bell, you can pretty much guarantee she's getting in to something she shouldn't. |

Have the syringe, but I've put down goats milk and karo syrup (which I should have remembered - first Yorkie had diabetes in old age). I've got lots of pee pads, and more on the way thanks to Mom. Have the collar and bell.
