I'm so, so sorry. What a terrible night and you have one where the smell will linger for a long, long time. You'll have to leave the garage open to air out. Lots of air freshener and time are the only things I know that will help the garage. I'm so sorry your husband was gone when this happened. Wouldn't you know? That's the way it always happens! I hope the smell goes away quickly, but in my experience it lingers for a long time.
