In Miami there is a leash law.. if you are caught without a leash you can be fined $500.00 per dog each time.

I have had some experiences in dog parks. I used to love to take my guys to dog parks then I had a couple of bad time so it took the fun out of it. For one, a lot of owners do not monitor their dogs.. so it is hard for my Bailey (who is fearful) when so many large dogs come up to him. Also, I don't like being jumped on myself.

I like the idea of the air horn.. I will try it!!! I also have a taser-- the one that give a electrical shock.. dogs hate the sound!!

I am sorry OP had the experience of such a rude low class person..
