Hey guys, first post. I just want some second (third technically) opinions on something. ^^
My yorkie, Elliot, just got back from the vet for his rabies vaccine. When my mom informed the vet that we were only feeding him two times a day, he told us we should be feeding him three times a day until he reached six-months. This confused us because when we got Elliot, a woman from the store told us he was only to eat in the morning and evening. The very first vet we took him to told us the same thing.
In case this info could be important; he weighs 5.4 lbs and is 4-months-old. Up until now we've been feeding him 1/4 cup of Royal Canin dog food. Should we start feeding him three times a day only in lesser quantities? We're just confused because of the differing opinions.
