I still am giving the benadryl until tom. and if she isn't better we are going back to the vet. I just hope this is not anything serious

My dog Barney has reverse sneezing and we have never used benadryl and he's had it every winter very bad since he was a puppy. This year is no different, the dry air in our house from the heat being on constantly can really affect him. I find a use of a vaporizer (NOT a humidifier) can help him and I add 2-3 drops of peppermint essential oil to it to naturally open up his passages. It works great and we haven't had to do anything medically for him.
