Thanks to all of you for the very warm welcome! My husband and I are both sitting here laughing about how silly it must sound to get the puppy after putting in new floors! ROFL! I must explain... We tore up the floors a few months ago, so we were in the process of redoing them BEFORE we lost our beautiful Maggie. We just thought the construction would be disrupting to a puppy! I know, I know... I've been thinking about house training and how we're going to protect these new floors. Oh well... I guess that's how it goes. If they get messed up, so be it! Can't wait to face that problem.
