The vet who was treating my dog with lymphoma prescribed fish oil for her. His only specification as to the type of fish oil was that the DHA and EPA in it added up to 600 or more. I've always used Nature Made for people. I just drop one of them in Lizzy's food every other day or so.
DHA, btw, is what a lot of the puppy foods now have added to help with brain development.
