We've had two dogs before and for a brief time, 3. But they weren't all the same breed or anywhere close in age. Buffy was our first little dog and first yorkie and we had real problems getting her to eat. She would starve rather than eat something she didn't fancy. She was so attached to us it didn't seem fair to introduce another dog into the house. This is why we were going to do it from the start this time. We thought they could be some company for each other and that a bit of competition might help with the feeding problems. |
