Sapphire walked and ran fine on the hardword floor in my kitchen. Then, one day she refused to enter. I don't know what happened to cause her to react this way. I use rubber backed 2x3 rugs for placemats for the feed bowls, so I put a few down 2-3 feet apart, which she appreciated and used. After about two weeks she got over it, I did remove the rugs one by one a few days apart.
She will not do a 'sit' on the hardwood, she insists on a rug or bed under her diva butt!
