Growing up we always had dogs. First German Shepherds, then wire haired terriers, a poodle and staffordshire terriers. I saw my first yorkie walking with my husband on the pier at Lake Michigan. A woman was holding this beautiful little pup and I asked what breed it was. She told me a yorkie and let me pet her. I was smitten! After learning more about the breed we brought home our first dog together. Baby was our first yorkie and when she passed at 16 we waited about two months and brought Sophie home. I can't imagine our life without her. Yorkies are my breed and Sophie is the love of our lives
