I remember seeing a yorkie when I was about 16. I thought he was really cute but never really thought about owning one. I finally got my first dog and she was a doberman; absolutely had to get one after seeing the "Daring Doberman gang" series of movies. She was extremely active, friendly and fit my life perfectly. Now, after a car accident 2 1/2 years ago, I knew I wouldn't be able to keep up with another Doberman and since we already have a larger dog, I figured a yorkie would be the right size to fit in our truck - another large dog wouldn't be possible. If... I mean when, my shoulder gets back to normal maybe a Doberman could be in my future - after all, I'm still getting used to the idea that I am the Yorkies protector instead of having a dog protect me! |
