A puppy's bones are generally not calcified until very late in pregnany. I go to the vet the final week for xrays. So if your vet did it early on, it makes sense they would not show up on xrays. If you are seeing movement, sounds like the vet was wrong. Do you know who the dad is? Gosh, you have a lot of research to do! I can't imagine having to brush up on things with a few days to spare. You have my sympathies! But take a deep breath and remember that dogs do give birth every day so with luck, she'll be fine. I would read up.
