My breeder told me to go ahead and use my shampoo on my puppy because if it's good enough for me then it's good enough for the dog. I checked with my groomer if that was true and she said no, the pH is different for a human and a dog. I had already bathed my dog with baby shampoo and the groomer said that was even a bigger no-no b/c baby shampoo is made to remove even more oils/greese b/c babies have more than adults. She said if I was desperate and didn't have any dog shampoo in the house to go ahead and use mine until I get dog shampoo versus using the baby shampoo b/c it will dry the skin out more than my shampoo. Just what I've been told....
