My baby is a finicky eater as well. He had diarrhea about a week ago and the vet told me to feed him chicken and rice..well, he WENT nuts...non-stop eating, he LOVED IT!!! Once the diarrhea settled and I tried to switch back to his regular Eukanuba, he wanted no part of it-he would not eat at all. I called my regular vet, but he was not in so I spoke with another vet and she said that most dogs will not starve themselves, however TOY dogs tend to do so, they will go on hunger strikes. She told me to keep feeding him the chicken with rice if that's what he wanted, it's just important that he continues to eat. So I went on this forum and posted the same question you just did, and I got a great suggestion from someone..they said to mix the eukanuba with some chicken in a little of the chicken broth (so its not so try) and grind it in my food processor...it has worked wonders!! Also, don't forget to give him his nuytrical, that will help as well. Good luck..they can be picky little eaters!!
