| Welcome to YT.
I am sorry that your first experience is this. Researching before you buy a pup is very important, as you have stated there are a LOT of puppy millers who use cute photos and nice words to sell animals that have been breed and live in hell.
I personally do not know of this shop. That being said, I have looked at their website and they appear to have numerous breeds which is NOT a good sign.
Also they appear to be a broker, another bad sign. Also, if they sold you you pup under the guise of it being a "teacup", know that there is no such breed. It is the usual vocabulary that puppy-millers use to entice unsuspecting clients.
I am glad that you have gotten your pup to the vet and that she is being treated. I would also contact the seller and tell them what has happened and ask for all the breeders info, if you do not already have it. I would also try and find out who this breeder is and what type of facility they have. That way you know what you will be in for.
As having owned a puppy-mill pup, I can tell you, for my little boy, it was a rough ride that ended too abruptly.
I am hoping that your little girl will be healthy and happy. She sounds like she has a step up already, as you are doing a wonderful job keeping her healthy and looking out for her. That is half the battle, I commend you. Please keep us updated on her progress, and best of luck. |
