My dog Lexie has a liver shunt and is being treated with medicine and a special food made by Science Diet. She is doing wonderful. She was diagnosed just before she was two years old and I was also very upset. However, I have learned that you give them the best you can including much love. You never know your dog may just be the miracle and live a good long life. |
