Yes, When I first got Bailey I use to have him in my lap, but he is such a hyper little guy, he was all over the place and I felt it was to unsafe to continue like that since he went everywhere with me, so I got a car seat, then I also got Jesse and just bought another car seat that fits both of them, so much better, and safer!
