Thanks for posting this. My dog Lola was killed on Christmas when another driver hit us head on. She was in my lap. I am so devastated and just hope that others take this message to heart. They should ALWAYS be restrained, whether you're going one mile or a hundred... It's not worth their life, your life, or someone else's. The airbag was what killed Lola, so please also remember that they belong in the BACK seat unless you can disable your passenger airbags. I don't want anyone else to ever have to face the devastation I have.
