I've pretty much figured out by now that there are two kinds of people who come into my house. Those who are "dog people" and those who aren't. Even if they own dogs, they aren't necessarily "dog people." "Dog people" don't treat your animals like that. They often greet your dog even if they are in a hurry or have some other reason to be there. When the "other kind" of people show up....well, it is better to pen the dog and just realize they don't have an interest in your pet. Their loss.

I've experienced the same kind of thing from few people. It makes me mad also. I'm sorry you had to go through it too. I mean how can you resist the cute face and mannerisms of a spunky yorkie???!!!
