Aggressive behavior should be stopped. A great training technique is to get 2-3 friends to come in for about an hour for 3-4 days starting off; and when they come in have them greet you and your pup by name, and then have them give the pup a treat. Start off slowly by throwing the treat on the ground or placing it at a corner of the couch for the pup to come get, so that your pup will not feel encroached upon. Do this for about a week and then continue the treats for about another week and then start eliminating the treats gradually. Before you know it the pup will come to see that new guests are a "good" thing and nothing to become aggressive over. Positive reinforcement and training has always worked for me.
