I found that its better to say something...so she knows you don't appreciate her actions...then to be silent.....because it will just happen again. And you might not be as nice next time..just remind her you don't treat her animals like that.....If it were me however..I'd push her dog away nicely........the dog won't mind...YOUR cousin will get the point...and then you can pet her dog after wards!
